Plot:
In a world where animals walk and talk like humans, Judy Hopps,
a rabbit from Bunnyburrow, finally achieves her childhood dream
of becoming the first rabbit cop in Zootopia. On her first day
at the Zootopia Police Department, Chief Bogo assigns her to parking
duty, where she encounters a sly fox named Nick Wilde and his
partner Finnick. Judy's determination leads her to abandon her
post to catch a thief, Duke Weaselton. Despite facing consequences
from Chief Bogo, Judy takes on the case of finding a missing predator,
Emmitt Otterton, without permission. Assistant mayor Dawn Bellwether
supports Judy's initiative, much to Bogo's dismay. With a tight
deadline of 48 hours, Judy must crack the case or resign from
the force.
After confirming
that Nick was the last person to see Emmitt, Judy coerces him
into assisting her by secretly recording his admission of tax
evasion. They follow a limousine that picked up Emmitt and discover
his belongings inside. The limousine is owned by Mr. Big, an arctic
shrew crime boss with whom Nick has a past. Mr. Big discloses
that Emmitt suddenly turned "savage" and mindlessly attacked his
chauffeur Manchas, a black jaguar. During questioning, Manchas
reveals that Emmitt mentioned "Night Howlers" before the attack.
Manchas then goes savage himself and pursues Judy and Nick. Judy
manages to trap Manchas and calls for ZPD backup, but Manchas
disappears before they arrive. Bogo calls for Judy's resignation,
but Nick points out that she still has ten hours to crack the
case. As they leave the scene, Nick confides in Judy about being
bullied as a child due to his peers' biased views on foxes.

Review:
Zootopia is a splendid film with a cast of Anthropomorphism animals.
Each of whom is easily relatable.
Anthropomorphism
is the attribution of human traits,
emotions, or intentions to non-human entities.
An interesting
question is presented within the storyline. That is to ask where aggressive
behaviour comes from. The predator animals start showing aggressive
and savage actions towards the tranquil animals. How much this may
parallel with human behaviour can be reflected on. When humans start
acting out and attacking others are they making a choice or just reverting
back to natural human nature. The Bible teaches us that human nature
is essentially evil and self centred. Something Christians have come
to accept.
There are a range
of quirky characters that do not fit our perception of what these
animals would normally do. A feisty rabbit that is not shy at all.
A feisty fox who wants to do the right thing. As well as nature loving
animals who rebel against clothes and want to just get back to what
they believe is natural. One of my favourite characters are those
who work at the licence bureau Yep, if you ever thought employees
who work for the government were slow you will understand why after
watching this film.
